Three New Simulations From Aerosoft
From subways to extreme weather in the Arctic and a park ranger experience, Aerosoft has announced three new simulation games: SubwaySim 2, Ice Truckers and Park Ranger Simulator. Two of the games are being developed in Germany, the other in Austria.
Aerosoft has announced three new simulators at gamescom and PAX West. SubwaySim 2 from Simuverse Interactive, formerly HR Innoways from Vienna, invites players to take control of the Berlin and Hamburg underground. In Ice Truckers, developed by Chronos North from Mörlenbach (south of Frankfurt), players drive trucks through icy terrain. Polygon Art from Westerburg near Koblenz is developing Park Ranger Simulator, a title with a focus on cross-platform multiplayer.
The public transport simulation game SubwaySim 2 is set in Berlin, while its predecessor was set in Hamburg. Developed by Simuverse Interactive, the game features a network of lines in Hamburg and Berlin with a total length of over 40 kilometres and 51 stations. Unlike its predecessor, SubwaySim 2 features not only the well-known DT5, but also two trains from the Berlin underground network, including the A3L92. For the first time, there will also be a career mode that simulates the daily routine of an underground train driver. A release date has not yet been set by Aerosoft.
Ice Truckers is an extreme weather trucking simulation game set in the Arctic, scheduled for release in 2025 for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Developed by Chronos North, the game invites players to navigate treacherous environments, contend with dynamic weather conditions, and master specialised vehicles tailored for frigid terrain.
Park Ranger Simulator is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam for PC in 2025. The game puts players in the role of a park ranger in a 20 square kilometre open world. It will feature 50 missions that reflect the daily tasks of a park ranger, such as protecting wildlife, repairing facilities and managing the ecosystem - either solo or in cross-platform multiplayer. Featuring a variety of vehicles and a resource management system, the game focuses on protecting the fragile ecosystem and maintaining the park grounds.
