Die Profisoftware wird bei der Herstellung digitaler Inhalte bei Film, Fernsehen, Video und Games eingesetzt. Ein Schwerpunkt der neuen Version liegt dabei vor allem auf der Bereitstellung zahlreicher neuer und erweiterter Features für die Entwicklung von Spielen. Zu den Kunden von AliasWavefront zählen zahlreiche bekannte Entwickler- und Publisherfirmen wie Capcom, Electronic Arts, Interplay, Namco, Nintendo, Sega und Square.
