Telefónica and Epic Games have entered into a strategic partnership, beginning with the preinstallation of the Epic Games Store on Android phones across the Telefónica network. Additional initiatives targeting mobile gamers are planned for the coming year.

This collaboration holds long-term potential benefits for mobile gamers, game studios, and mobile game publishers. Telefónica and Epic Games aim to make Fortnite and the Epic Games Store more accessible to Android users. As part of the agreement, the Epic Games Store will come preinstalled on all new Android-compatible devices on the Telefónica network.

Regionally, this rollout impacts Telefónica's home market in Spain, all Spanish-speaking countries in South America, and two of the largest European gaming markets: the UK and Germany.

The integration allows users to download Epic Games titles such as Fortnite, Fall Guys, Rocket League, and future third-party games directly via the Epic Games Store.

Of particular note, both partners intend to expand their collaboration in the coming year, aiming to deliver even more benefits to mobile gamers on the Telefónica network.
