"Anno 1503" ist eins der meistverkauften Spiele aus deutschen Landen. Und braucht bald nicht mal mehr einen PC.

Sunflowers hat bekannt gegeben, dass "Anno 1503: Aufbruch in eine neue Welt" auch bald in geselliger Runde als Brettspiel gespielt werden kann. Entwickelt wird das Tabletop von niemand Geringerem als Klaus Teuber, Erfinder der vielleicht erfolgreichsten Brettspielreihe der letzten Jahre, "Die Siedler von Catan".

Als Releasetermin gibt Sunflowers Ende des Jahres an. Eine Veröffentlichung zum Weihnachtsgeschäft, traditionell eine Zeit, in der viele Spiele gekauft werden, ist also mehr als wahrscheinlich. Erstmals einer breiten Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt wird die Brettspielumsetzung auf der Spiel '03 vom 13. bis 26. Oktober in Essen.
