With their second game jam, German broadcast union ARD brings classical music into focus. This weekend, six teams will jam on site while everyone can join in jamming from home with live music from the SWR Symphony Orchestra.
The German public broadcast union ARD has announced their second game jam: After the first edition in 2025, this year’s ARD game jam will be under the topic of “classical music”. The ARD Game Jam – Classical Edition takes place on 13 February 2026.
There, six teams will develop games on site along a topic that is yet to be revealed within 48 hours—inspired by music performed live by an ensemble from the SWR Symphony Orchestra. The teams have already been selected, but are as of yet not announced. Everyone else can jam from home, with a livestream of the Symphony Orchestra after the theme reveal.
