The largest Czech game studio, Bohemia Interactive, increased its revenues by 34% in 2024. The company sold almost five million games and DLC.

Bohemia Interactive increased its revenues by 34% to CZK 1.4 billion (€55.65 million) in 2024. The studio sold 4.85 million copies of games such as Arma Reforger and DLC such as DayZ Frostline across PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. In 2024, games from Bohemia Interactive were played by 17 million people around the world.

"The year 2024 exceeded all our expectations. The latest expansion DayZ Frostline, which has won the hearts of gamers around the world, has been a great success. And the real blockbuster was the military simulator Arma Reforger on PlayStation 5, where it currently has no competition in its genre. In addition, player interest continues to grow on all platforms, even at the beginning of 2025,"  says Slavomír Pavlíček, co-founder and CFO of Bohemia Interactive, naming the main reasons for the success.

Arma Reforger, which entered Early Access in 2022, has sold over 1.15 million units across all platforms since its launch. On 5 January 2025, the game reached its highest ever daily active user count, with a total of 169,210 unique players across PC, Xbox and PlayStation platforms: 55,616 on Steam, 38,449 on Xbox and 75,145 on PlayStation.

99% of sales come from abroad. The largest market is the United States with a 42% share, followed by the United Kingdom (7%) and Germany (6%). Significant growth has been recorded in the Ukraine, where the number of players has doubled since last year. The Brazilian market is also becoming increasingly important.

In addition to continually improving and expanding its existing titles, Bohemia Interactive is continuing development of the military simulation Arma 4, based on its proprietary Enfusion game engine, which is scheduled for release in 2027. This year will also see the launch of new titles from the Bohemia Incubator platform, a project in which Bohemia Interactive helps smaller development teams fund and publish their games.
