Asgard's Fall Enters Early Release in April

After making waves at the Steam Next Fest with a Top 50 demo and nearly 100,000 wishlist requests, Asgard's Fall from Assemble Entertainment and Instinct3 will launch in Early Access in April.

Asgard's Fall - Viking Survivors, a Norse mythology-inspired roguelite action game, goes into Early Access on 9 April 2025, for €6.99 on Steam ahead of its final release in 2026. Behind the game is Soulpotion from Niederburg in Rhineland-Palatinate. The company was founded on 21 February 2024. Asgard's Fall is their first game. Publishers are Assemble Entertainment and Instinct3.

Asgard's Fall combines Norse mythology, "Vampire Survivors"-style action, and RPG mechanics. Players battle waves of mythological foes across the Nine Realms. "With an evolving skill tree, a dynamic ability system, and unique mechanics like the Web of Wyrd, every chaotic run offers new ways to forge your legend. The Warpaint system allows for deep customization, while the Blood Sacrifice mechanic lets players tweak the difficulty for even greater rewards - and huge risks of Course," the publisher states.

For influencer marketing agency Instinct3, the game's co-publisher, the interactive Twitch integration should be interesting. "Through real-time polls, audiences can bless or curse the player with in-game events, creating unpredictable challenges and surprises in every run. Whether it's a helpful boon or a devastating twist, no two playthroughs are ever the same."
