Das Weihnachtsgeschäft 2007 wird heiß. Mit "Assassin's Creed" hat Ubisoft einen weiteren Blockbuster für eine Veröffentlichung zum Jahresende vorgesehen.

Somit wird der mit reichlich Vorschusslorbeeren versehene Actioner die Konkurrenzsituation im diesjährigen Weihnachtsgeschäft weiter anheizen. Denn an Topveröffentlichungen herrscht kein Mangel. Schon jetzt sind Hit-Kandidaten wie "GTA IV", "Halo 3 - Legendary Edition", "Need For Speed: ProStreet", "Die Siedler: Aufstieg eines Königreichs" oder auch "Guitar Hero III" in Stellung gegangen, um im Herbst um die Gunst der Kundschaft zu buhlen. Und noch ist es bis zum heißen Herbst 2007 eine Weile hin.

Der ein oder andere High Potential wird bis dahin sicherlich hinzukommen. Dass auch "Assassin's Creed" in diese Kategorie gehört, zeigen beispielsweise die Downloadzahlen zum ersten Spieletrailer. Die US-Seite Gametrailers.com vermeldete mit mehr als 1,3 Mio. Downloads einen wahren Ansturm der Spielefans. "Assassin's Creed" wird für PC, PlayStation 3 und Xbox 360 auf den Markt kommen.
