Hände und Füße in Bewegung bringt Ataris "Family Trainer". Die Kombination aus Wii-Spiel und Tanzmatte simuliert eine ganze Reihe von Outdoor-Sportarten für das Wohnzimmer und die ganze Familie.

Atari Deutschland und Namco Bandai verbinden im Herbst das Wii-Spielprinzip mit einem Tanzmatten-Controller à la "Dance Dance Revolution". Das "Family Trainer" getaufte Wii-Spiel erscheint mit einer Controller-Matte, die auch die Füße bei der Simulation einer Vielzahl von Outdoor-Spielen zum Einsatz kommen lässt.

Beim Wildwasser-Rafting, Baumstammspringen und etlichen anderen Sportarten werden Timing, Gleichgewicht und Ausdauer trainiert. Dabei können mehrere Spieler auf einer Matte antreten, um sich gegeneinander herauszufordern oder zusammen zu spielen. Atari veröffentlicht "Family Trainer" exklusiv für Wii im September 2008.
