The second Baltic Games Fest attracted 2,000 visitors. A total of 60 development teams, including 12 from Schleswig-Holstein and one from Denmark, presented their projects at the Holstenhallen in Neumünster. Visitors could try out indie games and engage in conversation with the developers at over 100 gaming stations. In addition, the Baltic Games Fest featured talks on topics such as protecting minors, the opportunities and risks associated with gaming, and insights into the industry. For the first time, two teams also presented analogue games.

Awards were also presented on Friday evening. Uke Bosse, who is hosting this year's German Computer Game Awards, was the evening's host. Garden Ink from Kranich Games won the award for Best Game. The Best Debut award went to Paws and Leaves - A Last Tale by Grownarts. The Schleswig-Holstein Special Prize was awarded to Night Errand by Lost Lantern Studio. The Audience Choice Award went to ForeFeathers by Team Honeybeak.

"With its strong growth, increasing international participation and positive feedback from the public and industry alike, the Baltic Games Fest is firmly establishing itself as a key gathering place for the indie gaming scene in the north," concludes the organiser.

In collaboration with Seal.Games and Off The Beaten Track, Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH hosted the second Baltic Games Fest at the Holstenhallen from 24 to 25 April 2026. The Baltic Games Fest is an extension of the Baltic Dev Days B2B conference, organised by Seal.Games in Kiel in 2019 and 2023. The event is supported by the Ministry of Economics, Transport, Labour, Technology and Tourism of the State of Schleswig-Holstein.
