German Federal Agency for Civic Education bpb has officially released their Handbook Gaming & Rightwing-Extremism today in a presentation hosted by the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt.

The German Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung, bpb) has officially launched their anthology called Handbook Gaming & Rightwing-Extremism  today in an online presentation organised by the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF).

“Ever since the attacks in Halle (Saale) and Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2019, the links between right-wing extremism and gaming have been discussed. For the first time, the Federal Agency for Civic Education/bpb is now bringing together leading players from the research landscape and practical education and prevention work in an accessible reference work on the topic of gaming and right-wing extremism in order to provide comprehensive background information and critical analyses”, the Agency explains the reasoning behind the book.

The book is available in German as of right now in print form from the bpb website for five euros or as a downloadable ebook for free.
