School Internship Programme for Games in Hamburg to Continue in 2026

Sixteen ninth-grade school pupils in Hamburg gained an insight into game development at InnoGames, Fishlabs and Playa Games during the 'Schulpraktikum Games' programme. Next year, the programme will continue.

Schulpraktikum Games 2025 Initiative Creative Gaming e.V.

From 30 June to 18 July, 16 school pupils from Hamburg gained insight into careers in professional game development as part of the "Schulpraktikum Games" programme. This internship programme is a unique collaboration between the gaming companies InnoGames, Fishlabs and Playa Games; the Games Master and Illustration degree programme at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg); the Creative Gaming initiative; and Gamecity Hamburg. The programme will continue in 2026 in cooperation with additional games companies.
