According to the organisers, the third edition of GG Bavaria was a complete success. The third edition of the event was fully booked and attracted more than 6,200 visitors.

In light of these numbers, it would come as no surprise if GG Bavaria had to move to a larger venue next year to meet the space demands of exhibitors and attendees. While nothing has been officially announced, the organisers reflect positively on a successful 2025 edition in their final report. More than 30 indie studios exhibited, numerous activities took place on-site, and in the end, more than 6,200 visitors were counted—a new record.

"Completely sold out, over 6,200 enthusiastic visitors: GG Bavaria 2025 is setting new standards and impressively underlining its central role for the games industry and community in Bavaria," said Robin Rottmann, Team Lead at Games/Bavaria.

Of particular interest to trade visitors was the Business Day, which took place for the first time this year on the Friday and featured numerous talks, panels, and ample networking opportunities. The Business Day was something visitors had been requesting over the past two years—and the organisers delivered. GG Bavaria is a collaborative project between Games/Bavaria and MYI, funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs.
