Der Softwareanbieter BVRP wird den US-Entwickler V Communications übernehmen. Mit der Transaktion sollen die Marktanteile im Kerngeschäft ausgebaut werden.

Für 8,5 Mio. Dollar in bar und Aktien wird BVRP Software den US-Entwickler von PC-Utilities V Communication (VCOM) übernehmen. Weitere fünf Mio. Dollar werden fällig, wenn die angestrebten Ertragsziele erreicht werden. BVRP erwirbt damit sämtliche Produkte und Rechte VCOMs. Unter anderem das preisgekrönte "SystemSuite" sowie der "Partition Commander" oder "Web Easy" gehören zum Portfolio des Übernahmekandidaten. Mit dem Kauf solle der Marktanteil im Kerngeschäft BVRPs ausgebaut werden. Die Distribution der ehemaligen VCOM-Produkte wird von den nationalen Avanquest-Niederlassungen verantwortet.
