Together, the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (MBB) and Canada Media Fund (CMF) are funding three titles in the current round with about 350,00 euros. Two of those titles are interactive media: A horror Mixed Reality platform and an interactive storybook for children about maritime environments.

The Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (MBB) and Canada Media Fund (CMF) have selected three digital media projects for joint funding of around 350,000 euros. The Canada Germany Digital Media Incentive funding programme has been supporting co-productions and co-developments in the field of digital content between Canadian and German producers from the capital region for seven years.

One of the projects, Exile by GTVdocs and Antica Productions is an animated series based on a podcast about Jewish people in exile during the Nazi regime. It receives 173,000 euros in development funding, of which MBB is paying 60,000 euros and CMF is paying 113,000 euros..

The other two are interactive media projects: The Last Whale Singer - Interactive Storybook by Telescope Game Studios and Tobo is an interactive children's book about a humpback whale. It receives 100,000 euros in development and production funding, half payed by each fund.

Don't Pick Up: Prototype XP by Syncreality and Shadow Box Cinema is an experimental  Mixed Reality platform, which combines a horror film with AR content. The project is receiving €82,820 in development funding, with MBB contributing €60,000 and CMF contributing 22,820 euros.
