Until 18 June, Canadian and Berlin-Brandenburgian media producers can apply for the Canada Germany Digital Media Incentive of Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and Canada Media Fund. This year, the budget is 375,000 euros total.

Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (MBB) and Canada Media Fund (CMF) are continuing their joint Canada Germany Digital Media Incentive funding programme with an increased budget this year. Canadian as well as German producers based in Berlin-Brandenburg can now apply for the co-development and co-production of digital media projects. The deadline is 18 June. Applications are now open.

For the current edition, MBB and CMF have increased the total budget to 375,000 euros (C$ 550,000). Both institutions will each contribute half of the sum. The maximum total contribution per funded project is 270,000 euros (C$400,000).

The projects eligible for funding can come from the fields of games, serial formats, multi-platform projects or XR experiences.
