Die US-Branchenorganisation The Computer Game Developers Association (CGDA) hat sich unter dem Namen International Game Developers Association (IGDA) neu firmiert. Laut Aussage der Verantwortlichen hat der Verband mit der Umbenennung auch ein breiteres Aufgabengebiet im Fokus. Die IGDA hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, als Non-Profit-Organisation die Kommunikation zwischen Entwicklern und Entertainmentbranche weltweit voranzutreiben.
