Concorde Home Entertainment startet zum Start von "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" auf Video und DVD am 22. März einen großen "Look-Alike-Contest".

"Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" erscheint zwar erst am 22. März 2002 auf VHS und DVD, doch bereits jetzt geht Concorde Home Entertainment in die Offensive und zieht alle Register im Marketingbereich. Dazu hat der Münchner Anbieter jetzt einen großen "Look-Alike-Contest" gestartet, bei dem ein "Lara Croft"-Modell gesucht wird. Bis zum 25. Januar können Bewerbungen mit digitalem Foto unter www.t-online/tombraider oder direkt bei Concorde unter dem Stichwort "Lara Contest" eingesandt werden. Die Vorausscheidungen finden in Saturn-Filialen in fünf großen deutschen Städten statt: 9. Februar München, 16. Februar Leipzig, 23. Februar Karlsruhe, 2. März Köln und 9. März Berlin. Das große Finale findet dann am 23. März im weltgrößten Elektrofachmarkt in Hamburg statt. Und die Preise haben es in sich: Als erster Preis winkt ein Land Rover Freelander sowie ein Auftritt als Lara Croft Model bei der Deutschen Games Convention 2002. Zweiter Preis ist eine sechstägige Fotoproduktion für den Katalog von Conley's. Als weitere Preise gibt es eine Nebenrolle in einer deutschen Filmproduktion und jede Menge Sachpreise im Wert von insgesamt 10.000 Euro. Als Koop-Partner treten unter anderem Eidos, Sony Ericson, Conley's, RTL II und TV Today auf. Moderiert werden die Veranstaltungen von Ex-Blümchen Jasmin Wagner.
