The Romanian Game Developers Association and Banca Transilvania have released their 2024 game industry report. Romanian game revenue has risen by eight per cent since 2023, with the biggest studios in the country being international subsidiaries like EA and Ubisoft.

The Romanian Game Developers Association has released a short report about the Romanian game development industry in 2024 in cooperation with Banca Transilvania. The report sees a turnover of a turnover of 343.16 million euros in Romanian game development in 2024, an increase of about 8 per cent compared to 2023, when the industry recorded €317 million.

The report lists the top 30 developers in Romania by Revenue, with Electronic Arts Romania and Ubisoft Romania topping the list. Capital Bucarest has the most game development studios, with more than three times the number than the second-largest game development hub, the Northern Romanian city of Cluj. All in all, Romania currently hosts 206 game dev studios with about 6,100 total employees.
