Planning can begin immediately: the date for the DCP 2025 has been set. The call for submissions is expected to open soon.

Shortly before gamescom, it was announced that the Deutscher Computerspielpreis (DCP; German Computer Games Award) 2025 will take place in Berlin. Now the event is taking shape. As part of the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg's annual review, the date of the DCP was also announced. It will take place on May 14. Further details about the location or moderation are not yet available. However, this information is likely to be released in the coming weeks. It is also expected that the submission phase will begin in the next few weeks, so that the jury has sufficient time to view and evaluate the games.
