Even before ONL and gamescom, this year's devcom developer conference will kick off on 17 August with an extensive programme. Over 210 renowned speakers have already been confirmed, and the side event programme is also filling up fast.

As every year, gamescom week in Cologne will kick off in 2025 with devcom! From 17 to 19 August, the Koelnmesse Confex Center will host devcom developer conference 2025 (#ddc2025) with a packed programme. Although the programme is not yet finalised, over 210 speakers have already been confirmed, including Anna Oporska-Szybisz (Bloober Team), Celia Hodent (Game UX Strategist), Cody Matthew Johnson (Emperia Sounds), Jon Everist (Composer), Kia Abhari (Riot Games), Kim Belair (Sweet Baby Inc), Kiki Finley (Point Blank Management), Lionel Cornelius (Riot Games), Matthew Strasser (Insomniac Games), and Wilbert Roget (Roget Music).

Among the newly announced highlights are sessions from Michel Nohra (Sandfall Interactive), Kate Kellogg (COO, Electronic Arts), Zeke Virant (MachineGames), Minh Le (Creator of Counter-Strike) and Stephen Flowers (Arrowhead Game Studios).

According to the organisers, there is also a new trend emerging in the programme: the number of interactive formats is increasing significantly. The number of round tables alone has tripled.

In addition to the content, the schedule of side events is also filling up. GamesMarkt has compiled an overview that also includes formats that are not organised by devcom itself and for which a separate invitation may be required.

The ddc is considered the most successful developer conference in Europe and experienced enormous growth, particularly with its move to the then newly opened Confex Centre in 2024. Last year, devcom attracted over 5,000 visitors, more than 350 sessions and a large exhibition area.
