Wobble Ghost and Deck13 Spotlight to Release Spindle in 2025

Deck13 Spotlight and Wobble Ghost will release the pixel action adventure Spindle for PC and Switch in 2025. The game follows the journey of Death and a Pig.

In July 2021, Deck13 Spotlight and Wobble Ghost announced the action-adventure game Spindle. Now they have released a trailer and confirmed that the game will be released on PC and Switch in 2025.

Deck13 & Wobble Ghost: "In the world of Spindle, death has ceased to exist. And when you, as the Grim Reaper, can't do your job because nobody's dying, chaos breaks loose. The universe is falling apart and the end is drawing near. To set things right, you must first find out what went wrong - before it's too late. Luckily, you won't be facing this journey alone! A trusty pink pig will be your companion, guiding you through the shadows. Together, you'll fight to restore balance to a world on the brink of collapse."

Spindle is an old-school action-adventure game that puts players in a hand-crafted pixel world of dungeons and puzzles, with the powers of Death to outwit the creatures and obstacles in their path.

The game is being developed by Wobble Ghost, a three-person indie team based in Berlin (Tom, Kim, and Felix). Their journey began in 2018, when fate and the internet brought them together. Deck13 Spotlight is the indie publishing (service) arm of Deck13 Interactive, that helps independent developers bring their projects to wider audiences like Chained Echoed, Rising Lords, Highrise City and most recently Drova.
