Bungie has announced a curious cooperation for Destiny 2, three weeks after Marathon’s launch: The MMO shooter will implement several cosmetic items inspired by Wizards of the Coast’s TCG Magic: The Gathering.

The game gets players skins for the three classes: Titans have the Flamecaller Set inspired by Chandra Naalar. Hunters can wield an ornament that takes its cues from Jace Beleren, while Warlocks can roleplay as Liliana Vess. Additionally, a Ghost skin inspired by Emrakul, a ship skin in the form of a Phyrexian praetor, a Sparrow form inspired by Vorinclex, several spells inspired by Magic’s color system and a Sol Ring emoji will be added.

A corresponding cooperation in Magic: The Gathering with Destiny cards is not announced, but is also not unlikely: After all, Bungie belongs to Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Sony had several of its iconic characters made into Magic cards just last year.
