Die Deutsche Telekom plant den massiven Einstieg in das Online-Games-Geschäft. Auf der E3 in Los Angeles präsentiert die Telekom ihre neue Plattform für Online-Spiele, die bereits im Juli starten soll. Die Testphase der sogenannten Community of Massive Gaming Agents (CMGA) wurde kürzlich angeschlossen. Ziel der Telekom ist es, führender Anbieter von Online-Gaming zu werden. Nach eigenen Angaben sollen über den Online-Service nicht nur Multiplayer-Spiele laufen, auch der Verkauf von Merchandising-Artikeln und Vollprodukten ist geplant.
