Xbox Moves Forward With Aggregated Gaming Library
This week, Microsoft is launching test runs of the aggregated gaming library on the Xbox app for Windows PCs and handheld devices as part of the Xbox Insider programme. The Xbox app for PCs now has publisher tabs, too.
From this week onwards, Xbox Insiders will be able to preview the new aggregated gaming library on the Xbox PC app for Windows and handheld devices. The feature will be available on the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X this holiday season.
Xbox: "With the aggregated gaming library, players can conveniently launch games from Xbox, Game Pass, Battle.net and other leading PC storefronts from a single library within the Xbox PC app. Whether you're on a Windows PC or a handheld device, your Xbox library, hundreds of Game Pass titles, and your installed games from leading PC storefronts will always be at your fingertips. We'll continue rolling out support for additional PC storefronts over time." However, Microsoft has not yet revealed the names of the 'other PC storefronts', although Steam has already been spotted on mock-ups. "When a player installs a game from a supported PC storefront, it will automatically appear in 'My library' within the Xbox PC app, as well as the 'Most recent' list of titles in the sidebar - making it easier than ever to jump back into your games."
Furthermore, players can now access a new channel on the Game Pass tab of the Xbox PC app, which showcases different publishers using iconic characters. This feature highlights the variety of publishers and games available on Game Pass, making it easier to find new titles.

Microsoft: "Copilot for Gaming is available now for early preview on mobile and will be coming to PC soon. (...) Updates for the Xbox Console includes customization for Most Recently Used, free-to-play benefits, Game Hubs, and dialog improvements for game saves."
