Xsolla is expanding its portfolio of direct-to-consumer tools with new features in its Xsolla Web Shop solution and the launch of its all-in-one Xsolla Publishing Suite.

The Xsolla Publishing Suite is designed to help game developers and publishers build a direct-to-consumer business. As a modular solution, it can be used regardless of business model, game genre, or stage in the game lifecycle. It includes tools for content management, payments, live ops, analytics, and pre-integrated marketing to accelerate time to market.

"With the launch of the Xsolla Publishing Suite, we’re enabling developers to overcome the challenges of direct-to-consumer sales with powerful, customizable tools," says Berkley Egenes, Chief Marketing & Growth Officer at Xsolla. "This solution simplifies reaching players directly, helping developers build lasting connections and drive sustainable growth."

However, the Publishing Suite is just one of Xsolla's responses to the growing trend of direct-to-consumer sales. This business model is becoming increasingly important, particularly in mobile gaming, as new EU regulations have challenged the gatekeeper status of Google and Apple on their own mobile platforms.

Alongside the launch of the Publishing Suite, Xsolla has also introduced updates to its Web Shop solution, further strengthening its direct-to-consumer offerings. These updates include a customizable loyalty program, new personalization options, an enhanced progressive web app, and automated regional pricing that accounts for differences in purchasing power. All of these enhancements aim to increase customer lifetime value.
