Sister companies Double Jump Communications and indie publisher Fellow Traveller have founded a new indie marketing division called Two Frogs in a Trenchcoat. It sits under the Double Jump brand and consists of Jasmine James, new Account Director of the division, and Travis Plane, Co-Founder and General Manager.
“Two Frogs was hatched from the idea that indie games need a marketing approach that’s as creative and as envelope-pushing as they are,” said James. “Traditional marketing ideas simply don’t work for games operating on a fraction of a fraction of AAA resources. By being nimble, scrappy, and resourceful in a landscape of fests, showcases, algorithms and more, we’ll support devs to make a bigger splash in a crowded pond.”
“Two Frogs expands on Double Jump’s long history with indie games, which have been part of our DNA since 2012. Our team is made up of video game enthusiasts who understand the nuances of our industry. Jasmine and the Two Frogs offering brings a focus that will help put indies on a successful path,” said Travis Plane, Co-Founder and General Manager.
Double Jump has worked with a range of indie studios, games and publishers including its sister brand, Fellow Traveller Games, publisher of Citizen Sleeper, Genesis Noir, and Paradise Killer. More recently, the Two Frogs team is currently working with teams such as Cobalt Lane GmbH (Imprinted), Sagestone Games (Delverium), and Unison Games (Descent of Lunaris). According to the website, Two Frogs is also responsible for work with Double Jump's back catalogue, as well as upcoming sleeper hit Titanium Court by AP Thomson and Fellow Traveller.
