New Tavern Talk Game From Gentle Troll Entertainment

Gentle Troll Entertainment has announced a new standalone game set in the Tavern Talk universe called Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker. Once again, it is a D&D-inspired visual novel.
Indie developer Gentle Troll Entertainment, based in Würzburg, has announced its new game: Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker. Set 36 years before the events of Tavern Talk, this new standalone adventure takes place within the Asteria universe and features a new cast of characters and story. Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker will be released on PC via Steam and on Nintendo Switch. The first demo will be available later this year. The game is to be self-published by Gentle Troll Entertainment.
"You find yourself in a little, bleary portside town ... and get to work! Welcome Tavernkeep, to the Drowsy Dragon, a cosy seaside tavern that you call home. Your speciality lies in mixing magic fate-altering drinks for your patrons - be it mean mercenaries, savvy sailors or ambitious adventurers. You can also turn the rumours you hear at work into quests for your patrons," said the developers. The game promises refined gameplay mechanics, at least six hours of gameplay on the first playthrough, and a colourful cast of characters inspired by TTRPGs, each with their own unique personality.
Founded in 2014, Gentle Troll Entertainment is a game studio in Würzburg. To date, they have released over 20 educational games spanning various genres, developed for PC, web and mobile in collaboration with industry clients. Following the positive reception of Tavern Talk last year (rated 80 on Metacritic and over 1,000 reviews), the team are now focusing on Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker.
