Electronic Arts and FC Bayern Sign Multi-Year Partnership
At the same time as Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala were unveiled as cover stars for EA Sports FC 26, Electronic Arts and Bayern Munich announced a multi-year partnership.
It's a win for Electronic Arts and EA Sports FC. German record champions FC Bayern and EA have signed a multi-year partnership. This will bring the Allianz Arena, the club and the players to EA Sports FC 26. The FC Bayern women's team will also be part of the game. FC Bayern Munich had been a partner of Konami since 2019, which meant that the FC Bayern stadium, the Allianz Arena, was exclusively available in eFootball.
Michael Diederich, Executive Vice Chairman of FC Bayern, comments: "Passion, commitment and emotion are the hallmarks of football, both on the pitch and in the virtual world - and the gaming community is growing with every move. We at FC Bayern are all excited to share these attributes with our new partner EA Sports FC. Together, we want to further expand our interaction with the next generation of football fans: on the pitch and on the game console."
And James Taylor, Director of Football Partnerships at EA Sports, adds: "We are incredibly proud to welcome FC Bayern München as an exclusive partner of EA Sports FC. As one of the most iconic clubs in world football – with a legacy of excellence, a global fanbase, and an unmatched influence on the sport – FC Bayern München represents the very best of the game. It’s a privilege to bring their story, players, and passion to life for millions of fans in EA Sports FC 26 and beyond."
The announcement also coincides with the announcement of this year's cover athletes. Alongside Jude Bellingham, FC Bayern star Jamal Musiala will also be featured. The two players even played together in the English youth team.
