The exact sales figures have not been disclosed, but thanks to the Game Sales Awards, one thing is certain: EA Sports FC 27 sold over 600,000 units across all platforms in Germany during its first month of release.
This means the football game has got off to just as successful a start as last year’s version. Just as EA Sports FC 26 did last year, EA Sports FC 27 has now also been awarded the game Sales Award in the Multi-Platinum category. This is the highest category in the association’s Sales Awards.
To receive a Multi-Platinum Award, a game must sell more than 600,000 units in Germany across all platforms within the first 12 months of its release, without any special promotional offers. Both physical and digital sales count towards this total. In addition to the Multi-Platinum Award, there are also the Double Platinum category for over 400,000 units sold, the Platinum category for over 200,000 units sold and the Gold category for over 100,000 units sold.
