Food for Thoughts, developers of educational games "Sibel's Journey" and "Leila's Play", are entering the EU programme Erasmus+ Small Scale Partnership in Youth together with Learning Designs from Istanbul. Their games will be used in transnational education.

Food for Thought, the creators of educational onlines game "Sibel's Journey" and "Leila's Play", is selected for the Erasmus+ Small Scale Partnership in Youth programme. The EU programme connects companies from at least two EU countries in and supports them with grants.

Working with the organisation Learning Designs in Istanbul that specialises in the development of educational workshops using games and gamification techniques, Food for Thought "aims to develop comprehensive workshop packages that integrate its video games for use in formal and informal educational settings."

The workshops are supposed to be aimed at young people in Turkey and Germany and will be finished for future implementation through collaboration with the partner. In the planned workshops using video games as teaching materials, Learning Designs will use "Sibel's Journey" to enable inclusive gender and sexuality education and "Leila's Play" to address issues such as accessibility, disability, neurodiversity and physical diversity.

The initiative is aimed at young people between the ages of 13 and 18 who are interested in participating in these free workshops offered in both countries. Registrations are now open.

"We are full of excitement and gratitude for this opportunity," said Serenad Yılmaz, Founder and Creative Director of Food for Thought. "We are looking forward to this journey together with our partners from Learning Designs in Istanbul."
