Der finnische Entwickler Encore Games, neu gegründeter Ableger von Nitro FX Ltd., einem ebenfalls finnischen Spezialisten für 3D-Animation und Design, sucht derzeit einen Vertrieb für den Titel "East Indian Company", der 2008 erscheinen soll. In diesem Game ist der Spieler im 18. Jahrhundert als Kapitän der East Indian Company auf den Weltmeeren unterwegs und kann hierbei als Händler, Pirat oder Soldat agieren. Die East Indian Company bestimmte in dieser Zeit fast allein den weltweiten Handel und bildete das Rückgrat des britischen Empires.
