Epic Games has announced price increases for V-Bucks (Fortnite) due to higher operating costs. The Battle Pass has also been adjusted, meaning players will no longer receive bonus V-Bucks.
Epic Games will increase the price of V-Bucks, the in-game currency in Fortnite. "The cost of running Fortnite has gone up a lot and we're raising prices to help pay the bills," the company wrote. The new prices will come into effect on 19 March 2026.

The Battle Pass will also be adjusted, costing 800 V-Bucks and awarding 800 V-Bucks upon completion. Previously, it cost 1,000 V-Bucks, and completing it earned 1,000 V-Bucks plus 500 in the Bonus Rewards.

The Fortnite Crew V-Bucks grant will change from 1,000 to 800 V-Bucks. Fortnite Crew subscribers will receive an email with details of the timing of this update in their region. Existing V-Bucks gift cards can still be redeemed for their printed value.
