On Saturday in Vienna, the final of Red Bull For The Win took place. This is an esports tournament format in which amateur players take on professionals, and victory went to an amateur player. Second place goes to a German amateur.

In front of a sold-out crowd at Vienna's Palais Ferstel, 19-year-old Viennese player 'King ASA' (AUT) won Fortnite with a lead of over 50 points against professional players such as 'MrSavage' (NOR) and 'Mongraal' (GBR). "After my good result at Red Bull For The Win last year, I was able to optimise my performance even further this time. With two wins out of eight rounds, I made it to the top in the first part of this year's tournament and went into the final with a comfortable points lead. Winning Red Bull for The Win is an important step for me in pursuing my gaming career," said the Fortnite talent.

As one of twenty amateur finalists, "King ASA" secured first place on the big stage, ahead of fellow amateur "Exquobot!" (GER) and Fortnite pro "MrSavage" (NOR). The prize fund for the esports tournament was €10,000.

The final was broadcast live by Amar, a streamer and influencer with over one million followers. "Amar", who grew up in Vienna, hosted the event for the second time. The live final took place in front of over 200 guests at the sold-out Palais Ferstel in Vienna. A total of over 25,000 people watched the 4.5 hours of play online.
