The Apex Legends Global Series is coming to Germany for the first time, with the second split taking place in Mannheim at the SAP Arena directly after gamescom 2024.

Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment will bring the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) to Germany. The playoffs, in which teams from around the world will compete for a total of one million dollars in prize money and the playoff trophy, will take place from 29 August to 1 September in Mannheim at the SAP Arena. The ALGS Split 2 playoffs will be the first professional esports event to be held in the arena.

"The Split 2 playoffs mark the highly anticipated return of Apex Legends esports to Europe and our first ALGS event in Germany," said John Nelson, Senior Director Esports at EA Entertainment. "With previous stops in the UK, the US and now Germany, we are bringing even more ALGS action to fans around the world."

The top 40 Apex Legends teams from around the world will be competing on the big stage for the second time this year. Teams such as Team Falcons, Fnatic, Fennel, Legends Gaming, and many more will be competing this summer to secure their place at the ALGS.
