The BLAST R6 Major, an international esports final, will once again take place in Germany , – thi time in Munich – from 8 to 16 November. It will also mark the final Rainbow Six Siege event ahead of the prestigious Six Invitational, scheduled for February in Paris.

Following its 2022 debut in Germany, the BLAST R6 Major returns this November—this time to the BMW Park Arena in Munich. The event is the culminating tournament in Ubisoft’s current Rainbow Six Siege X professional esports series. Teams must qualify for a spot in Munich through various regional leagues. The top 16 teams will then travel to Munich to compete in private rounds and a public tournament from 14 to 16 November at BMW Park, battling for a total prize pool of $750,000.

The results from Munich will feed into the Six Invitational, Rainbow Six Siege X’s standalone world championship, which Ubisoft will host in Paris in February 2026—near the company's headquarters.

"We are incredibly excited to bring the BLAST Rainbow Six Major to Germany for the second time and to the vibrant city of Munich for the very first time,” said Chrystina Martel, Executive Producer of Rainbow Six. “With 16 of the world’s best teams competing in thrilling matches over eight days, fans can look forward to an unforgettable tournament experience."

Nelson Garcia, Associate Director, Esports Live Events & Broadcast at Ubisoft, added: "Munich and Paris are both incredible cities that provide a special backdrop for the biggest moments in Rainbow Six Siege. Bringing the BLAST R6 Major to Munich allows us to expand our presence in Europe and offer both fans and players a fresh, dynamic atmosphere to enjoy competition at the highest level."

For Munich, the BLAST R6 Major is another milestone in the city’s still-young esports history. Just last year, in 2024, Munich hosted both the LEC Finals and the EMEA Masters in League of Legends.
