With two dedicated event spaces in Cologne, CGN Esports is entering MediaMarktSaturn's Xperion. The spaces will host weekly esports events.

MediaMarktSaturn and Cologne association CGN Esports announce a joint strategic partnership to make gaming and e-sports more accessible in the DACH region. Two dedicated CGN experience booths will open in Xperion Cologne for this cooperation. Weekly community events such as leagues, sessions, and creator meetups are announced to take place there regularly, and a professional streaming setup can be used for creator streams, watch parties, and events.

“Xperion Cologne is our new home stadium,” says David Dick, COO & Co-Owner of CGN Esports. “This is where gaming thrives, where the community lives. Together with MediaMarktSaturn, we bring pro gaming and lifestyle spirit directly to the fans: to play, celebrate, and cheer. Cologne remains our home—but our influence extends far beyond the city limits.”

“As a regular participant in the finals of various leagues in our XPERION arenas, CGN Esports is more than just a crowd puller,” says Sebastian Knaup, Managing Director of Xperion. "This unique gaming and lifestyle community is approachable, authentic, and has grown directly out of the target group. For us, it's simply the perfect match to give something back to the community with regular events and accessible experiences."
