The Esports State Championships (E-Sport Landesmeisterschaften 2025), the largest esports event in Schleswig-Holstein, will become a community festival this year. The event will take place on 31 May and 1 June 2025 at the Holstenhallen Neumünster and will be bigger than ever before.

The E-Sport Verband Schleswig-Holstein (EVSH) is developing the state championships for 2025. In addition to the finals, where the best esports athletes from Schleswig-Holstein will compete in Valorant, League of Legends, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and eFootball, visitors can expect a broad entertainment programme. Players will be able to try out PC, console, VR and retro games at more than 50 gaming stations. Schleswig-Holstein's regional esports centres will be on hand to showcase their work, and esports clubs from across the state will also be represented. There will also be a cosplay contest, cosplay stands, sim racing, trading card games, merchandise stands and an interactive quest.

The Holstenhallen Neumünster and the Sparkassen of Schleswig-Holstein are partners of the state championships and want to support and expand the event as regional partners. Phillip Ebben, 1st Chairman and Managing Director of the EVSH, emphasises the importance of the long-term cooperation: "In the Holstenhallen Neumünster, we have found the perfect partner for the sustainable development of the state championships. Thanks to the modern venue, we can welcome the ever-growing community and establish the event in Schleswig-Holstein for the long term. The support of the Sparkassen in Schleswig-Holstein also shows how important strong and long-term partnerships are for the development of esports. Together we are creating something big here that goes far beyond the competitions.

Daniela Stahl, Finance Director and Project Manager of the E-Sport State Championships, emphasises the positive development of the event: "The State Championships continue to grow organically every year, and in 2025 we are once again taking a significant step forward. The mix of high level esports, a growing community and exciting entertainment makes the event unique. It's great to see how the event continues to develop each year and how more and more people are getting involved in esports."
