Global Gaming League Secures Licensing Agreements with Major Publishers

The Global Gaming League considers itself to be a celebrity-driven gaming entertainment league, and its first season will begin in August. The first partnerships with publishers have now been finalised.
The Global Gaming League (GGL) has announced partnerships with various publishers. The GGL is a league comprising celebrity-owned teams that compete in multi-title video game matches. These partnerships will enable the GGL to use the publishers' games for league play and global streaming during its inaugural SZN Zero season. The games included in the agreements are Tetris, TrackMania, Call of Duty, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Brawlhalla, Tekken and Rocket League.
"Everyone gets excited and understands the impact GGL will have after I explain the vision. Gamers come in all ages and there hasn’t been anything that brings games and gamers from different generations together, until now. With these partnerships, we are able to bring game titles from different genres and eras that attract everyone to the same place. This League will uplift the whole industry, showcasing every aspect of the gaming world from publishers, to those that make the actual hardware, to sponsors and most of importantly to the gamers among us, everywhere," said Clinton Sparks, Founder and CEO of the Global Gaming League.
The GGL comprises celebrity-owned teams, each with a roster of four players. In each competition, two teams will face off in four different games. The inaugural SZN Zero matches will take place on 23 August 2025.
"It has been exciting to see the support from publishers for what we are building here. We are complementary to esports in that we are offering another avenue for competitive gaming and entertainment, but in a more accessible way," said Darin Colucci, Global Game League Commissioner.
