Uniliga Extends Partnerships With hanuta and Weiße Ring
The Uniliga remains true to its credo of long-term partnerships and has extended its cooperation with the Ferrero brand hanuta. This is not the only partnership that has been extended in recent weeks.
The cooperation with hanuta Riegel will be extended for another year, taking it into its fourth year. Since the beginning of the cooperation, Uniliga and hanuta have created the "Kracher der Saison" (stunner of the saison) format. This means that every season, one League of Legends player will be awarded a trophy and a grant of 750 euros. As part of the expanded partnership, it was also agreed that the campaign would be extended to include Team Fight Tactics.
"The Uniliga aims to establish long-term partnerships with its partners in order to achieve the greatest possible authenticity and acceptance in the community. The many requests for the availability of the delicious bars before our offline events, such as the Uniliga finals at the end of each semester, show us the strong connection between hanuta bars and the Uniliga," says Fabian Fromm, founder and project manager of the Uniliga.
The partnership with Ferrero's hanuta brand is not the only one to have been extended in recent weeks. In mid-May, the Uniliga extended its cooperation with Weisse Ring, Germany's largest aid organisation for victims of crime. The latest extension focuses on prevention and transparency in the fight against digital violence. And at the beginning of the month, the Uniliga agreed a partnership with streamer Phil 'Autophil' Ehrlich, who played for the Uniliga team Bremer Brüder for many years.
The Uniliga is a project of UNI E-Sports GmbH, which was originally founded by students and has been the main contact point for e-sports at German universities since 2014. According to the company, the Uniliga currently has more than 4,000 active players in over 600 teams at around 200 locations.
