Freaks 4U Gaming will present the Pro Arena for the first time at gamescom 2025. It will be a new hotspot for esports, community events and interactive entertainment. SK Gaming has been confirmed as the first main partner of the Pro Arena.

In cooperation with gamescom, Freaks 4U Gaming is introducing a new concept at the world's largest gaming event, combining esports (on all platforms), entertainment and community under one roof on more than 2,500 m². A large stage will host matches and shows, while publishers will present their latest games at specially designed demo stations. Business and VIP areas complete the concept, providing space for networking and partnerships.

"The esports and gaming industry is full of energy and innovation, but it's also constantly evolving. That's why we continuously develop new formats for our partners and clients," says Michael Haenisch, CEO of Freaks 4U Gaming. "With the Pro Arena, we're sending a strong signal together with gamescom – creating a platform that merges community experiences and top-tier esports on a whole new level."

Tim Endres, Director of gamescom: "With Freaks 4U Gaming, we have a strong and experienced partner by our side. The Pro Arena is a major new addition to what gamescom has to offer - both for the esports scene and for our visitors. As the world's leading gaming event, we rely on creative concepts that resonate nationally and internationally."

SK Gaming has been confirmed as the first main partner of the Pro Arena. The Cologne-based team will host a 700 m² entertainment area on site. It will host the finals of the Equal eSports Cup in League of Legends and the Magenta eTrophy in Fortnite.

Alexander T. Müller, CEO of SK Gaming: "gamescom has been a fixed date in our calendar for many years. The Pro Arena now gives us the opportunity to present our teams, creators, and partners even more prominently. We're very excited to take this next step together."
