Arc System Works has announced the opening of a Europe office, Arc System Works Europe. The Japanese developer and publisher of fighting games is looking to expand its activities in Europe and continue to grow.

The Japanse developer and publisher Arc System Works extends its activities to European territory, opening its subsidiary in Paris. The SAS (société par actions simplifiée) was created with a capital of 100,000 Euros. The purpose of the subsidiary is as follows: marketing of products developed and sold by Arc System Works, product promotion, customer service, licensing, localisation and new IP/new business development.

Arc System Works is best known for fighting games such as Guilty Gear (most recently Guilty Gear Strive), Under Night In-Birth and BlazBlue, as well as Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising with Cygames, DNF Duel with Nexon and Dragon Ball FighterZ with Bandai Namco Entertainment.

"Having celebrated its 36th anniversary, Arc System Works seeks to grow further in Europe as a renowned developer and publisher. From now on, Arc System Works Europe provides the opportunity to create unforgettable Moments," said the company in its announcement.
