The DLR Projektträger will remain the organisation partner for the German Federal games funding in the next few years. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action has extended the cooperation.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action is once more extending its cooperation with the DLR Projektträger (DLR-PT) in the area of federal games funding. The DLR-PT will remain responsible for computer game studios and developers interested in funding.

The DLR-PT has been organising the Federal computer games funding since 2019. It will remain to do so, even within the currently discussed new funding guideline parameters.

“The German games industry still has a lot of aces up its sleeve: from remakes of well-known traditional brands to innovative new game ideas and concepts, everything is included. We are looking forward to many new great ‘Games made in Germany’ and to further co-operation with the German games industry”, says Matteo Riatti, Head of Computer Games/Creative Industries Department, DLR-PT.
