In the final funding round for 2024, MFG has allocated a total of €615,000 to support six studios and indie developers. Four of these projects secured funding exceeding €20,000.

Two of the funded titles fall under the “Funding up to €20,000” category, which accepts applications year-round with no submission deadlines. Both projects, awarded the maximum amount of €20,000 each, are based in Mannheim. Niocron Games/Daniel Ruppert received funding for the concept development of Friends We Make, while Torched Hill was granted support for creating a prototype for Nightfall Waves.

For larger grants, the jury selected the following studios:

  • Studio Seufz: €100,000 in prototype funding for The Longing II: The Clandestine.
  • Sharkbomb Studios: €75,000 in production funding for Crownbreakers.
  • Radiation Blue: €200,000 for Dead Party.
  • Zeitland media & games: €200,000 for Camp Chaos.

The next deadline for applications for the Games BW Funding of MFG Baden-Württemberg in the “Funding Over €20,000” category is January 31, 2025.
