Digital Cauldron from Marklohe, Magni Games from Braunschweig and 1000 Orks from Osnabrück profit from the current funding round at nordmedia. From the 4,7 million euros given, only about 235,000 euros go to these three game studios however.

The Lower Saxony funding agency nordmedia has announced the next funded projects. Of the 4,7 million euros, only about 235,000 euros go to games however – the rest is put into the movie industry. Apart from movie productions that also includes cinema modernisations.

The following three games get funding in the current nordmedia round:

  • Danger Island by Digital Cauldron GmbH from Marklohe: 14,630 euros prototype funding
  • Kreuzer, Krone und Kabale by Magni Games UG from Braunschweig: 200,000 euros production funding
  • Proxies by 1000 Orks from Osnabrück: 20,000 euros project development funding

The next submission deadlines for funding at nordmedia are 29 August 2024 and 9 January 2025.
