FFF Bayern Is Funding Twelve Games With €863,250
The Games Funding Committee of the FFF Bayern has decided to support twelve new games projects with a total of 863,250 Euros. Recipients include Gentle Troll Entertainment, Active Fungus Studios, NeoBird, LichAgainGames and Irox Games.
In total, twelve new games projects are being funded by the FFF Bayern. Two of the projects are going into production, three studios are developing prototypes and seven companies are developing concepts. The studios are located in Nuremberg, Würzburg, Herzogenaurach, Garching, Munich, Wörth, Augsburg, Kempten, Gersthofen and Bayreuth.
The production of Growing Wild is being funded with 300,000 Euros. The game from NeoBird in Nuremberg is a mix of Farming and Tower Defense. The mystery thriller Inspector Schmidt by Active Fungus Studios from Munich will receive 114,900 Euros.
The Würzburg-based studio Gentle Troll Entertainment, which has just released Tavern Talk, will receive 100,000 Euros for the development of a prototype of the cosy PC puzzle game Packing Orders. In the game, players run their own cosy boutique and are responsible for packing online orders. Lich Again Games UG (haftungsbeschränkt) from Wörth will also receive 100,000 Euros for Kingshand (WT). The title aims to combine elements of online card games and turn-based strategy games with role-playing games. 88,350 Euros will go to the prototype development of Oku by Irox Games from Garching, which takes players on a spiritual journey and introduces them to the Japanese architectural concept of Oku.
