The Games Funding Committee of the FFF Bayern has decided to support twelve new games projects with a total of 863,250 Euros. Recipients include Gentle Troll Entertainment, Active Fungus Studios, NeoBird, LichAgainGames and Irox Games.

In total, twelve new games projects are being funded by the FFF Bayern. Two of the projects are going into production, three studios are developing prototypes and seven companies are developing concepts. The studios are located in Nuremberg, Würzburg, Herzogenaurach, Garching, Munich, Wörth, Augsburg, Kempten, Gersthofen and Bayreuth.

The production of Growing Wild is being funded with 300,000 Euros. The game from NeoBird in Nuremberg is a mix of Farming and Tower Defense. The mystery thriller Inspector Schmidt by Active Fungus Studios from Munich will receive 114,900 Euros.

The Würzburg-based studio Gentle Troll Entertainment, which has just released Tavern Talk, will receive 100,000 Euros for the development of a prototype of the cosy PC puzzle game Packing Orders. In the game, players run their own cosy boutique and are responsible for packing online orders. Lich Again Games UG (haftungsbeschränkt) from Wörth will also receive 100,000 Euros for Kingshand (WT). The title aims to combine elements of online card games and turn-based strategy games with role-playing games. 88,350 Euros will go to the prototype development of Oku by Irox Games from Garching, which takes players on a spiritual journey and introduces them to the Japanese architectural concept of Oku.

  • €30,000 to DU & I UG (haftungsbeschränkt) from Munich for Spot! - a cosy puzzle game in the "Spot the Difference" genre
  • €30,000 to Nementic Games GmbH from Herzogenaurach for Cloudscrapers - a minimalistic strategy game in which players build the tallest tower city in the kingdom
  • €20,000 to Favorite Ice Cream Games UG (in foundation) from Augsburg for Unseelie Chronicles – Rise of the Dark Count - narrative 2D single-player roguelite RPG with tactical, dice-based turn-based combat
  • €20,000 to Kreative Kraut GmbH from Kempten for Kratzer (WT) - breeding dragons on the old dragon farm of the great-grandfather
  • €20,000 to Memory Forge UG (in foundation) from Gersthofen for Incredibug - 3D platformer about friendship, cohesion, biodiversity and artificial intelligence
  • €20,000 to Soul Blossom UG (haftungsbeschränkt) from Bayreuth for Holiday Ressort - building a holiday paradise on the German coast
  • €20,000 to StrayDogs UG (haftungsbeschränkt) from Nuremberg for Frequency of Mine - a narrative 3D single-player adventure game
