Pro Helvetia Opens Calls for Funding, Delegations and Mentorship Programmes
On 1 July, Pro Helvetia will begin accepting submissions for Work Grants, the Swiss funding programme for game studios. The deadline is 1 September, which is also the closing date for applications for the She Got Game and SwissGames Showcase mentorship programmes, as well as the participation to the GDC and the Nordic Game Conference 2026.
Three months before the deadline, SwissGames has published new open calls for various game-related funding opportunities. These include funding for projects by young studios, participation in mentorship programmes and booth participations at international events in the first half of 2026.
Pro Helvetia has set 1 September as the deadline for all these measures. Specifically, there are three project grants under the banner ‘Game Design Emerging Talents’ for the pre-production, production and post-production stages. An online information event on the funding opportunities available under the Game Design Emerging Talents programme is planned for 5 August.
In the first half of 2026, Pro Helvetia also plans to participate again in the GDC in San Francisco and the Nordic Game Conference in Malmö with a joint booth. Interested studios can apply for these now. The decisions will be announced in autumn, leaving sufficient time for preparation.
Last but not least, the calls for applications for the She Got Game mentorship programme and the SwissGames Showcase Mentorship Programme will close at the beginning of September.
