It's as if Pokémon Sleep went physical: Nintendo has announced Alarmo, a physical alarm clock full of sensors and Nintendo gaming content. In regards to regular alarm clock functionality, the Alarmo can produce 35 soundscapes from the five Nintendo games Ring Fit Adventure, Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 3 and Pikmin 4 to wake its user up.

The clock also uses sensors to scan the users movement in their sleep and can be adjusted to wake them up accordingly in a light sleep phase or with continuously louder sound. The clock can be connected to the Nintendo Online account service, after which users can download more audioscapes from games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons when they are implemented in the future.

The Alarmo will go on sale in January 2025, but can be preordered this week in the My Nintendo Store.
