The Amazon series Fallout has been nominated for 17 awards in 16 categories at the 76th Emmy Awards, with two episodes nominated in the category 'Outstanding Picture Editing For A Drama Series'. The Fallout TV series had the most successful launch with young viewers of any Amazon series. It reached 65 million viewers worldwide in just over two weeks. The global success of the Fallout franchise is also driving interest in the games it is based on. The Fallout series was released on Prime Video on 10 April 2024. It was produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.
At the last (75th) Emmy Awards, a video game adaptation was also among the big winners. HBO's The Last of Us won eight awards and was nominated 24 times.
