GamesMarket: What brought you to make game music?
Jesper Kyd: When I received a Commodore 64 for Christmas, I become hooked on all the great game scores on the C64. There was a real sense of spirit, creativity and individuality in the music scores. It sounded to me like these composers were having the time of their lives. Very different from a show on TV where often generic music would sit in the background.
